Terms & Refund Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Who you're contracting with

When you book a lesson you enter into a contract with Pavel García Lorenzo, trading as Tuelang, tax ID PENDING — add your NIF/NIE, PENDING — add your registered address (Spain). Contact: hello@tuelang.com. These terms apply to every booking made through this website. The contract is concluded in English.

The trial lesson

A trial lesson is a single 60-minute, 1-on-1 online German lesson with a Tuelang teacher, priced at €15. When you book, you choose a time slot and pay in advance. You'll receive a confirmation email with a calendar invite and a video link — that email is your confirmation of the contract.

Cohort places

A cohort place is a seat in a scheduled group programme with live sessions over a fixed number of weeks. Applying does not create a contract: we confirm your place by email, and the contract begins when you pay the deposit or first instalment for the place we've offered you. Instalment plans are set out on the course page and in your confirmation email.

Prices & payment

Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include any applicable tax. Payments are processed securely by Stripe and charged at the time of booking. If a price is displayed incorrectly through an obvious error, we'll contact you before taking payment rather than hold you to it.

Your right to withdraw (EU/EEA consumers)

You have 14 days from booking to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. To withdraw, just tell us — an email to hello@tuelang.com is enough. We refund everything you paid within 14 days, using your original payment method.

By choosing a lesson slot that falls inside those 14 days, you are expressly asking us to start the service before the withdrawal period ends. Once a lesson has actually taken place, you lose the right to withdraw from that lesson; for a course already under way, we keep a proportionate amount for the sessions delivered and refund the rest.

Where our cancellation policy below is more generous than this statutory right, the more generous one applies. Nothing in these terms removes your rights under Spanish consumer law (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007) or the mandatory consumer law of your own country.

Rescheduling

You can reschedule your lesson free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time, using the link in your confirmation email.

Cancellations & refunds

  • Cancel 24 or more hours before your lesson for a full refund.
  • Cancel within 24 hours of the start time, or don't show up, and the lesson is non-refundable (we've reserved your teacher's time) — except where your 14-day right of withdrawal above still applies.
  • If we ever need to cancel or reschedule and can't offer you a suitable alternative, you get a full refund.

To cancel, use the link in your confirmation email or contact hello@tuelang.com. Refunds are returned to your original payment method.

What we owe you

We deliver lessons with reasonable care and skill, at the times booked, taught by a qualified teacher. We can't promise a particular exam result or level — that depends on your practice as much as our teaching. If a lesson is disrupted by a problem on our side, we'll reschedule it or refund it, and our liability is limited to what you paid for the affected lessons. Nothing here limits our liability for death, personal injury or fraud.

Lesson materials

Worksheets, recordings and other materials we share are licensed to you for your own learning. Please don't redistribute or resell them. Live sessions are only recorded when we tell the group in advance.

Conduct

Lessons are a respectful learning space. We may decline or end a session, without refund, in cases of abusive or inappropriate behaviour.

Complaints & disputes

Tell us first — email hello@tuelang.com and we'll reply within a few working days. If we can't resolve it, EU consumers can use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. These terms are governed by Spanish law; if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in your local courts.

Changes & contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page at the time you book is the one that applies to that booking. Questions? Email hello@tuelang.com.
